    ✨ Myths ✨


    Weres and Shifters are in a sense a species of their own, but there are enough differences between the two that to mislabel them is considered quite an affront. For starters, Shifters are generally born, but a Were can be either born or bitten.

    Those who are born are thought to have had connections to various magical beings. Shifters can generally be any type of animal, where as Weres are limited.

    Weres can be either made through a curse from a demon, a blessing from an angel, or being bitten. The nature in which a Were is made determines the type of animal they will turn into. Those who are bitten tend to be predator like creatures, like wolves and panthers. Those who are cursed tend to be creatures like snakes.
    Those who are blessed are often sacred-like creatures, like bison or eagles.




    ✨ Attributes ✨


    No matter how whether they are born or bitten, weres and shifters all have the same heightened senses, and are more aware of their surroundings and other creatures in the vicinity.




    ✨ Powers ✨


    Weres and Shifters are capable of three of the following:

    🔹 Wiser Magic - The ability to use a more book learned magic, beyond that given by nature. Less natural magic ability is required. This includes offensive elemental magic, summoning, and potion making.
    🔹 Darker Magic - The ability to use what is the darker side of the magical understanding, and an abomination to the beauty of nature. This includes necromancy, witchcraft, and curses.
    🔹 Stealth - The ability to keep well hidden and preserved with its surroundings.
    🔹 Animal Speech - The ability to verbally communicate with any animal.
    🔹 Strength - The ability to use and demonstrate a completely unnatural and unusual physical strength.
    🔹 Crafting - The ability to construct and create items using available and provided materials.
    🔹 Partial Form - The ability to shift into a partial form between animal and human.
    🔹 Speed - The ability to use their animal-like speed when not in the form.




    ✨ Weaknesses ✨


    Weres and Shifters can be harmed by silver, which burns the skin, and if in liquid form it can leak into the blood stream and prove lethal. They are also harmed by mistletoe, which to them is like garlic to vampires, a powerful repelant and poison.




    ✨ Occupations ✨


    🔹 Pack Leader - Those chosen, usually through a battle of some sort, rule with their mate, who is also chosen through a battle of some sort. They are in charge of watching over the pack. (Must have Admin/Mod approval)
    🔹 Warrior - Those chosen to be warrior are taken away at young ages and trained to be the best of the best.
    🔹 Hunter - Someone has to keep the rogue creatures at bay.
    🔹 Druid - Druids command nature's wrath, can summon swarms of insects, or even wrap up some poor bastard in the earth. (Must have Wiser Magic)
    🔹 Witch/Wizard - Those who dabble in Wiser Magic and Darker Magic and are often good and evil. (Must have either Wiser Magic or Darker Magic).
    🔹 Tavern Keeper - Pretty self explanatory.
    🔹 Farmer - Those who tend to the lands and sell produce. Simple as that.
    🔹 Prison Guard - Those who keep the prisoners in their jail cells.
    🔹 Escort - One who guards nobles and important figures across treacherous and dangerous terrains.
    🔹 Blacksmith- One who crafts weapons and armor, along with everyday things. (Must have Crafting).
    🔹 Assassin- A mercenary hired to kill certain people. Not usually tied down to one side or another, the assassin tends to side with whoever pays the most.
    🔹 Apothecary - Dabbles in potions and herbology. Unlike healers, they make poisons as well. (Must have Darker Magic and Wiser Magic).
    🔹 Healer - Like apothecaries, they also dabble in potions and herbology, but they also have the ability to heal through the use of wiser magic; therefore, (Must have Wiser Magic).
